The know-how

It is in the workshops, which were completely renovated in 2008, that Meert bakes its chocolates, jams, fruit jellies, and other sweets. The house gets its chocolate from the best suppliers. Meert’s ingredients are carefully selected by the head chocolate baker and the transformation is traditionally made by the chocolate baking team. White chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, pralines, ganaches, orangettes, mendiants or griottines then decorate the shop’s shelves. The chocolate bakers also make the entire decor in chocolate pastries, yule logs or large tiered cake. At Meert, chocolate is the result of truly passionate workers that respect Meert’s longstanding traditions.
